What We Collect
- Memo sign-up: your name and email address, and the date you signed up.
- Emails you send us: your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell us.
- Visits to the site: technical records, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, are kept to run and protect the site. We do not use these to identify you.
We do not ask for financial details on this website, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why We Use It, and on What Basis
- To send you our memos and notice of new research, with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or writing to us.
- To answer your enquiry or register your interest, because you asked us to.
- To meet our obligations as a firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria, where the law requires us to keep records.
Who Else Handles It
We use service providers to host this website, serve the typefaces it uses, store sign-ups and carry our email. They process personal data only on our instructions. Some of them hold data outside Nigeria, and where they do, we rely on the safeguards the Act allows, such as contractual protections. We do not sell personal data or share it for marketing by others.
How Long We Keep It
- Sign-up details: until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days.
- Enquiries: up to two years, unless they lead to a client relationship. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your Rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable form, or withdraw your consent. Write to welcome@oldshoreham.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to sign-up data is limited to the staff who need it. If we change this notice, we will update the date above.
